The Collection

Sean Sheila Spring/Summer 2022 collection draws inspiration from William Golding “Lord of the Flies” and its film from 1963. This collection is an homage to the purity of youth and its transformation towards savagery that is derived from nature. This season challenges the classic silhouette of a tailored garment by gently deconstructing it into new shapes before finishing off with Sean Sheila’s signature hand embroidery. The intricate motifs take inspiration from tropical plants and insects to create a symmetrical blossom, while the colours of the collection – Blush Pink, Tuscany Yellow, Beige and Charcoal are inspired by paintings of Georgia O’Keeffe.
