Minjukim Spring Summer 2023
A-line mini dress that reminisce the feeling of holding the shape of a large ribbon with wrapping paper by using the texture of wrinkles and shiny materials that are irregularly arranged in one direction. If you pull on the lace ribbon straps located at both ends of the wings, the sleeves are naturally draped in the form of a “jean shawl” to complement your feminine figure. A shawl-shaped sleeve is put on the body, and the shirring part falls down. The natural draping creates a more dramatic effect, and when worn, the shine of the fabric and the overall shape harmonize to create a dress-up feel.
The Collection
With her Spring/Summer 2023 Collection, “Fairy’s Wish,” the Seoul-based fashion brand, MINJUKIM, captures the joy of an ordinary spring, imagined through the lens of a spring fairy that both brings beauty and warns of its fleeting nature.
The collection features prints of bone and dried flower shapes, permeating like a shadow. The silhouettes include puff sleeves and cuts inspired by fairy wings. Added details come in the form of cuts and petal lines to the silhouettes, resembling the shape of fairy wings, remaining always true to the designers’ signature style.
