The Collection
Sean Sheila’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection derives its title “Kage” from the Japanese word “shadow” – a concept that translates into loosely-tailored suits, bright gold embroidery and shapes inspired by traditional Japanese garments. The designers also cite that the collection is “imbued with the shadows we see while being stranded in quarantine”, hence the moody undertones of steel and black.
