Inspired by Luca Guadagnino’s “Suspiria”
Drawing inspiration from the haunting beauty of Luca Guadagnino’s 2018 horror film and the dance choreography of Pina Bausch, Huishan Zhang SS24 Collection emerges as a homage to feminine strength through movement. Luxe fabrications and artisanal craftsmanship creates a collection that slips between day and evening. Plus, a dramatic colour palette of the film and the emotive power of dance.
The collection embraces fluidity and grace, with a custom palette of pink, red, gold, black, white, and grey-blue. It frames and celebrates the female form through silhouettes that recall dancers in motion. So it evokes a sense of strength and movement even in stillness.
Adorned with feminine details and strong, directional lines, each garment stands testament to the unique influences that underpin the brand.
