Inspired by the friendship between the brand’s founder Karen Lau and media personality Debbie Goh, the collection takes its direction from the women’s shared journeys through womanhood. It starts with Debbie taking a trip down memory lane to a time when she was a young girl watching her mother create dreamy fashions as a tailor, and this idea of naivete and romance is interpreted through the collection’s pastels, soft flounces and girlish collars. Wynka’s signature ruffles and relaxed silhouettes are ever-present in the laidback tailoring, loungewear, loose dresses and romantic cuts.
