The Collection
Inspired by the novel and film of the same name — Annihilation, Sean Sheila’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection is aptly titled “Annihilate”. This collection explores the idea of otherwordly mutations and the evolution of natural elements. As such, the pieces in this collection is focused on classic tailoring with gentle deconstructions, and embedded with a unique print along with their signature embroidery imitating Pleurotus mushrooms.
The colour palette for this collection is also referenced from the film, opting for neutral colours like black, beige, khaki, blush and orange; with the inclusion of unique iridescent nylon to give off a tinge of mystic energy.
