On the Bow Pearl Flower Drop Earrings in Silver, the bow is the movable part. A round flower-shaped stud with a pearl at the centre and a ring of small stones around it sits in the lobe, and a silver ribbon bow hangs from it on a short link, free to swing a little with every turn of the head.
The side view in the second photo is the best one for seeing how they are made. The stud has a round, domed back and a post, and the bow hangs below it, flat and wide, with its two loops and tails visible from the front. The finish on the bow is a smooth, soft-sheened silver, while the stud is brighter, so the earring has a bright top and a calmer drop. The product spec lists brass with 18K gold plating, cubic zirconia and imitation pearl; this colourway is finished in a silver tone.
In the YVMIN photos the pair is worn with a pearl-and-bow necklace and a pale green visor, over a light blue corset-style top. Silver and pearl sit in the same cool range as the blue, so nothing in the frame is competing. The drop is short enough that the bow stays just below the lobe, close to the face.
Because the top of the earring is a stud, they can be worn on their own without anything above them. A hoop is a poor match in the same ear, since it would cross the bow when the head moves. Hair pulled back or behind the ear shows the whole earring. Hair worn down hides the stud and shows only the bow, which is also fine.
