The Fruit Animal Colourful Hair Clip puts three animal heads in a row along a silver-tone barrette: a pink cat with whiskers on the left, a grey bear-like head with a black nose in the middle, and a yellow head with a black nose on the right. The clip measures 6.9 cm by 2.6 cm.

The spec lists brass, 18K gold plating, cubic zirconia, synthetic rubber and gold-plated iron for the spring, with a weight of 22.8 g. In the front photo the colours are soft: a pastel pink, a flat mid-grey and a warm butter yellow, which sit against the silver frame without any of them taking over.

The listing has three photos. The first is the front of the clip, and the second is the back, where the spring mechanism and the beaded silver outline are visible through the frame. The third shows it worn at the side of the head, above the ear, with black wraparound sunglasses and a low ponytail.

In that photo the clip is the only colour near the face, because the sunglasses and the hair are both black. This is the way to wear it if you want the three heads to show: dark hair and dark frames behind it, and no other hair accessory in competition. The pink, grey and yellow are different enough that each head reads on its own.

The clamp-style spring makes it suitable for a section of hair swept back from the temple, and the spec lists 22.8 g, which is worth weighing against how fine your hair is. The back view shows an open frame with the spring in the middle.

The heads are rubber, so keep it away from heat and wipe it with a soft cloth after wearing. Store it in a pouch so the heads do not rub against other accessories.
