Jacques Wei Fall/Winter 2026
Two different fabrics share the Burgundy Textured Floral-Edged Sheer Sequin Panel Skirt: a solid burgundy upper section with a streaky, tiger-stripe texture, and a see-through sequin panel below it, joined by a band of trim.

The upper section is fitted through the waist and hip and ends at mid-thigh. Where it meets the lower panel there is a dense band of pointed, petal-shaped trim in dark red, which the product name calls floral. It works like a ruffle without being one, and it also shows at the sides in the back view.

The panel below is an open lattice with sequins sewn into the pattern, so the legs show through the gaps. The spec lists an acetate fabric with subtle, translucent sequins, and says the silhouette is draped and does not cling to the legs.

In the lookbook it is worn with a burgundy sweater beaded with white flower shapes, sheer black tights and gold sandals, with a small green clutch. The sweater is close to the shade of the skirt’s upper section, and the tights sit behind the lattice, so the panel and the legs blend into one dark, see-through tier. Bare legs would show far more skin through the net, so the tights are doing real work in these photos.

In the photos the sheer panel brings the hem to just above the knee, so a good share of the skirt’s length is the lattice rather than the solid burgundy section. That proportion is what keeps it from reading as a plain pencil skirt.

Sequins and pointed trim catch on other fabrics. Keep the skirt apart from knits and zips when you store it, and use the garment’s care label before cleaning. Gentle handling matters most at the trim, which is the part that would show wear first.
