Jacques Wei Fall/Winter 2026
Viscose does most of the work on the Dark Brown Pleated Fluid Chiffon Long Skirt. The spec sheet lists it as 100% viscose or a viscose-polyester blend, and the fabric is pleated through the whole body of the skirt, from the hip down to the hem.

It is cut in two parts. A close, ruched band sits at the waist and hip and ends in a curved line, and everything below it is a gathered, flowing skirt with a ruffled tier near the bottom. The hem is uneven, with pointed edges that lift as the fabric moves. The colour is a chocolate brown, dark enough to read as a neutral and warm enough that it does not look like black.

The lookbook styles it with a sheer brown lace camisole, so the outfit stays in one colour family, plus a silver pendant necklace and open sandals. The contrast between lace and soft pleats is the point of the look. If you would rather not go tonal, the skirt takes a cream or black top without competing, because the only detail on it is in the cut.

The close-up photo shows where the volume is placed. The waist band is fitted and flat, the pleats open out below it, and the ruffled tier adds the fullness at the bottom, so the bulk sits low on the skirt instead of at the waist.

Before washing, read the garment’s care label. Viscose and pleats are both easy to damage with heat and agitation, so a gentle method is the safer starting point. Hanging it up between wears helps the ruffled tier keep its shape, and it avoids the creasing that comes from leaving a full skirt folded in a drawer.

The Dark Brown Pleated Fluid Chiffon Long Skirt sits in the Jacques Wei Fall/Winter 2026 collection next to its Peacock Blue version. Jacques Wei was founded in 2010 and builds its clothes on couture-inspired techniques and masculine tailoring. The label’s own range is at Jacques Wei’s official site.
