Jacques Wei Fall/Winter 2026
Pink-purple satin and mustard-gold lace are the pairing on the Pink Purple Color-Clashed Lace Embroidery Twisted Satin Skirt, and the lace does the contrasting at the hem, where it edges the skirt in an embroidered band.

The product spec lists the satin as an acetate blend and says the fabric resists wrinkles. It is a short skirt with a smooth, flat front. The twist happens at the hip: the fabric is knotted and drawn up on one side, which makes a gathered fold and gives the hem an uneven line instead of a straight one.

The lace is embroidered with a floral pattern in mustard gold, and it follows the curve of the hem. Because the colour sits so far from the pink-purple of the satin, it reads as a deliberate contrast rather than a match, which is what the colour-clashed part of the name refers to.

The lookbook keeps the rest of the outfit in the same palette: a finely crinkled amber camisole with black strap edging, sheer black tights, and ankle-strap heels in green, black and pink. The camisole repeats the colour of the lace, so the trim looks planned rather than added. With a plain black top the lace would stand out more, and with a cream one the skirt would carry the outfit on its own colour.

Wrinkle resistance is on the spec sheet, but the lace edging is the part to protect. Check the care label before washing, keep the skirt away from rough zips and hook-and-loop fasteners that can catch the embroidery, and hang it so the hem hangs free instead of sitting folded.

The Pink Purple Color-Clashed Lace Embroidery Twisted Satin Skirt is part of Jacques Wei Fall/Winter 2026. Jacques Wei started in 2010 and uses couture-inspired techniques alongside masculine tailoring; the label’s own range is on Jacques Wei’s official site.
