This draped tee is constructed in a rather “unfamiliar” way on the draped bodice. Just like how a Sarong is extended, wrapped, held in place by a fold and left to drape, the asymmetrical bodice of this tee is constructed in the exact same way. Fabricated in soft rayon and cotton blend, this draped tee is soft to touch, falls and wraps gently on the wearer’s body just like how a sarong does.

The Collection
Reinterpreting the traditional sarong-style wrap – a recognizable staple garment within many Southeast Asian cultures – designer Max Tan takes his cue from the monastic and clean draping lines of this well-loved piece of traditional costume. Expect to find plenty of Max’s hallmark tailored cuts and silhouettes, softened by diaphanous fabrics and layers. Colours are kept to a monochrome palette of black, white and sand, thereby cutting out the fuss needed in mixing and matching the different items together. Together, the collection offers a smarter way to get dressed – where easy shapes and timeless separates come together to create a sophisticated wardrobe.
