Bright, saturated orange-red does most of the work on the Orange Red V-Neck Lace Camisole Top. It is floral lace on fine straps, with a V-neck edged in a narrow binding and a seam just under the bust where the lace drops into a loose, flared body.
A ruffled tier runs down the centre front, over the seam, and the lace hem ends in a scalloped border that sits a little uneven against the lace above it. The lace is sheer: in the flat photo the background shows straight through, and on the model the skin is visible between the flowers. The colour reads as a single hot orange from a distance, and up close the floral pattern picks out darker and lighter patches within it.
The back is open. The straps run into a low scoop, and the lace hangs from the bust seam in a fuller, rippled drop that stays clear of the waist. From behind it looks like a different piece, softer and more draped than the structured V at the front.
The Jacques Wei styling is the interesting part. The top is worn over an olive-green satin skirt with an orange lace hem that echoes the camisole, with sheer dark tights, green earrings, a black clutch with a teal bow and pink heels. That is a loud combination, and it works because the orange sits against green instead of against another warm colour.
