The colour is the first thing to read on the Royal Blue Textured Floral-Edged Sheer Sequin Panel Skirt: a saturated royal blue with a streaky, tiger-stripe texture across the upper section, over a sheer black lattice panel with sequins sewn in. The design is also made in burgundy.
The spec lists an acetate-cotton blend with a subtle floral pattern and understated sequins, and says the draped cut does not cling to the legs. The blue section is short and close-fitting, with a fringe of pointed, petal-shaped blue trim along its lower edge. Below the trim, the open black lattice takes over.
From behind, the blue section stays short and the trim shows at the sides, while the black lattice carries on down to just above the knee. Most of the skirt’s length is lattice, with the blue acting as an upper tier instead of the main body.
The lookbook pairs it with an ivory cardigan with gold floral embroidery down the front, sheer black tights and gold ankle-strap sandals. Gold against blue is a high-contrast pairing, and the black lattice keeps it from turning too sweet. For a quieter look, a plain black or navy knit would let the blue section do the talking.
Because the legs show through the lattice, tights decide how the skirt reads. Sheer black ones, as in the photos, merge with the panel into a single dark section under the blue, while bare skin would turn the lattice into a visible pattern of its own.
Sequins and trim need gentle handling. Store the skirt so the lattice panel is not crushed, keep it away from rough knits that could snag the sequins, and follow the garment’s care label for washing or dry cleaning.
